Terms of service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern access to and use of the Routiv platform, an online service for managing, monitoring and remotely administering MikroTik routers (the “Service”), provided by CloudConcept SRL (VAT BE0772.638.454) (“Routiv” or “we”).

Creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing or making any payment constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.

2. Service description

Routiv includes, among other things: router onboarding via encrypted tunnel, monitoring, backups, remote access (WebFig, Winbox where available), alerts and related tools. Features may evolve. Product and pricing pages describe the commercial offer in force.

The Service is provided “as is”. Routiv does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every RouterOS version or configuration.

3. User account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information (including billing and VAT number where applicable) and keep it up to date.

4. Free trial

A trial period may be offered for the duration stated at sign-up (default 30 days unless otherwise stated). The trial involves no automatic charge at its end: without a paid subscription, access to paid features / supervision may be suspended or limited under the current offer.

5. Subscriptions, licenses and renewal

• Offers: trial, monthly or yearly subscription per router (or slots), lifetime licenses per the published price list. Volume discounts may apply.
• One-off payment: if you pay for a period without enabling auto-renewal, paid Service ends at the end of that period unless you pay again. No tacit renewal applies in that case.
• Recurring subscription: only if you explicitly enable it (checkbox / “auto-renewal” / Stripe recurring subscription). Charges then renew each period until cancellation under the terms shown at checkout and in the account UI.
• Cancellation: you may stop auto-renewal before the next billing date via the account or support. Amounts due for the current period remain payable; except where mandatory law provides otherwise, no pro-rata refund is owed for a period that has started.
• Lifetime licenses: under the conditions shown at purchase (per router / credit pool). They are not a recurring subscription. Routiv may limit abusive transfer or use under the offer.
• Prices and VAT: as shown on pricing pages. Belgian VAT applies under applicable rules and billing profile (Belgium always with VAT; EU outside Belgium with a valid VAT number: reverse charge where applicable).
• Non-payment: on failed or missing payment, Routiv may suspend or restrict access after notice.

6. User obligations

You agree in particular to:

• use the Service lawfully and respecting third-party rights;
• not circumvent security, quotas or the licensing system;
• have the rights needed over the equipment and networks you connect;
• keep independent critical backups for your business (Routiv backup is a complementary tool, not an absolute restoration guarantee).

7. Availability and liability

Routiv uses reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, without a commitment to 100% uptime. Maintenance, incidents or dependencies (customer network, ISP, RouterOS, Internet) may affect the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, Routiv’s liability is limited to proven direct damages and, in aggregate, to the amounts excluding tax actually paid by the User for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event. Indirect damages (loss of revenue, data, reputation, etc.) are excluded, except for gross negligence, willful misconduct or mandatory law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its code, UI and trademarks remain the property of Routiv / CloudConcept SRL. No rights are assigned beyond a non-exclusive personal right of use for the contract term.

9. Data and privacy

Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy. You remain responsible for data and configurations on your equipment.

10. Suspension and termination

Routiv may suspend or terminate access for serious breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk or non-payment. You may stop using the Service and request account closure via support; some data may be retained for legal obligations.

11. Changes

Routiv may change these Terms, prices or the Service. Material changes may be notified (website, email or account). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, subject to mandatory consumer rights where applicable.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Failing amicable settlement, courts of the district of CloudConcept SRL’s registered office have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
